OUR STORY
On this auspicious day of Dussehra, a festival that celebrates the victory of good over evil and marks new beginnings, our dream has taken shape – Tarani.
Tarani is not just a name, it is an inspiration.
It draws its strength from one of Maharashtra’s most courageous women in history – Maharani Tarabai Bhosale. She was a symbol of power, resilience, and determination, who protected her land and culture in the toughest times. Inspired by her spirit, Tarani represents timeless strength and grace.
But Tarani also carries a very personal story. During my second pregnancy, I had decided that if I were blessed with a daughter, I would name her Tara. Though that dream didn’t come true in the way I imagined, today, through Tarani, my Tara has taken form. For me, Tarani is not just a brand – it is like my daughter, my dream, and my mission.
Our journey goes beyond fashion. Through our social work foundation, a part of Tarani’s profit will be dedicated to supporting children’s education, women’s empowerment, and the betterment of society.
That is why every saree, every outfit you buy from Tarani is not just an expression of beauty – it is also a contribution to hope, strength, and social good.
Tarani is the union of heritage and heart. When you wear Tarani, you wear not just a garment, but the legacy of a queen, the dream of a mother, and the promise of a brighter tomorrow.
